A popular principle about grounding, “Internality”, says that if grounds B, then necessarily, and B obtain, B. I argue Internality is false. Its falsity reveals a distinctive, new kind of explanation, which call “ennobling”. also entails every previously proposed theory what grounding facts construct theory.
